Overview

hermes-agent is a personal automation application operated by its owner, Ryan Dougherty (contact: pikminmovie2@gmail.com). It connects to the owner's own accounts to automate tasks such as email handling, document management, and record keeping. This application is not a public service: it has no other users and does not accept sign-ups.

Data accessed

When the owner authorizes the application through Google, it may access the owner's Google account data limited to these uses:

• Gmail — reading and sending messages as part of email automation workflows.
• Google Drive — reading, creating, and organizing files used by the workflows.
• Google Sheets — reading and updating spreadsheets used as task and inventory records.
• Basic profile information — the account email address, to identify which account is connected.

How data is used and stored

Account data is processed solely to perform tasks requested by the owner. Data and authentication tokens are stored locally on the owner's own computer. The application does not use third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services, and does not operate any external database.

Data sharing

Account data is never sold, rented, or shared with third parties. It is used only by the application on behalf of the account owner.

Data retention and deletion

Locally stored data can be deleted by the owner at any time. Google account access can be revoked at any time via Google's security settings (myaccount.google.com/permissions); revoking access immediately disables the application's ability to read or modify account data.

Material changes to this policy will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date.
